Mathematics

Mathematics laboratory is a place where students learn and explore mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts and theorems through variety of activities using different materials. These activities are carried out by the students under the guidance of teachers to explore, to learn, to stimulate interest and develop favourable attitude towards mathematics. In our Maths Lab 30 students can be accommodated at a time. There are five sets of each experiment, so there are five tables and Manis’ for sitting. Students sit in Padmasan to conduct experiments. To each table one set of experiment will be provided to explore the mathematical concepts. The mathematics in nature is displayed by different banners put up on the wall, such as arrangement of seeds in sunflower, arrangement of sepals and petals in flowers, arrangement of leaves.
